17-20 The demands of the question are addressed effectively in a focused and logical structure. Arguments and concepts are developed and there is evidence of psychological understanding and in-depth analysis. There is evaluation of the cultural, ethical, gender and methodological considerations and different viewpoints appropriate to the question. In addition, the response may demonstrate evidence of conceptual ability or a successful challenge to the assumptions implied in the question.
14-16 The demands of the question are addressed effectively within a structured framework. The argument is clearly supported by appropriate knowledge from the perspectives. The answer demonstrates analytical ability. There is a good attempt at evaluating cultural, ethical, gender and methodological considerations, and different viewpoints appropriate to the question.
11-13 The demands of the question are addressed mainly within a structured framework. The response is sufficiently accurate, relevant and adequate to support a sound answer. Analysis may not be fully developed. A good understanding is demonstrated of the cultural, ethical, gender and methodological considerations appropriate to the answer
8-10 The question is addressed. The answer contains accurate knowledge but is mainly descriptive with some implicit analysis that is not sufficiently related to the question. There is reference to cultural, ethical, gender and methodological considerations appropriate to the question. There is a basic structure to the answer.
6-7 The question is partially addressed, with limited accurate, relevant and factual knowledge. There is little reference to cultural, ethical, gender and methodological considerations appropriate to the question. There is an attempt to structure the answer but it is not sustained throughout the answer.
4-5 Although there is an attempt to answer the question, knowledge of the perspectives is limited, often inaccurate and of marginal relevance to the question. There is minimal reference to cultural, ethical, gender and methodological considerations appropriate to the question. There is little sense of structure in the answer.
1-3 There is very little or no understanding of the question, nor evidence of knowledge of the perspectives. The answer is no more than a collection of generalizations, or is a paragraph of a few relevant facts. There is almost no organizational structure.
